Magic Adapter Series 2 V1.06 for Mac Version Updater

Update your Magic Adapter Series 2 :  MAGIC-NS2/MAGIC-NS Rev2.0/MAGIC-NS Lite/ MAGIC-S PRO2/MAGIC-S Ultimate/MAGIC-X to the latest firmware version on MacOS 

This is the Mac Version updater . If you are using Windows ，please download Windows version updates from Mayflash website  

Noted:

1. Please turn on App Store & Known Developers for MacOS

System Settings –Privacy&Security -- App Store & Known Developers

2. CAN NOT downgrade the firmware version to an older version on MacOS . Downgrading is only supported on Windows .

3. Firmware updates on iPhone and iPad are not supported

 1. Compatible with Evercade VS console （switch to XINPUT mode for Magic Adapter）

Note：

Not compatible with the Evercade VS controller 

The wired controllers may not work properly and better to connect the BT controllers to Magic on Evercade VS

2. Optimise the input lag on PC

3. Share = Capture/TPAD for Xbox Series S/X controller

4. Fixed some known issues below

• Xbox Elite Series 2 controller did not work properly with the Magic Adapter

• the buttons L2/R2 of Google Stadia controller do not work properly

• the LT/RT buttons lost analog signal after upgrading the Xbox controller

• cannot connect with 8Bitdo Arcade Stick 2.4G dongle

Quick Start

1. Download the software from https://www.mayflash.com/Support and install it on your MacOS system.

2. Double click on the updater and leave the updater window open on your screen.

3. Press and hold the button on the side of the adapter, and connect the USB from your adapter in o any spare port on your Computer.

4. As soon as the driver window indicates under “Device” that the adapter has been recognized, you may release the button.

5. select “update”.

6. Do not disconnect the device until you are informed that the updated was completed successfully.

• The update process is slow, please be patient. If there are any errors in the update process, please try it again.

• If you are having the issues connecting a Xbox Series S/X controller to the Magic Adapter for using with a Nintendo Switch, please disable or turn off any Bluetooth device (like your Smart TV or Set Top Box etc.) within range of the controller, and sync the controller and adapter again.

Switch Pro mode (the LED indicator is purple)

To make sure the system can identify the adapter easily, please turn on the “Pro Controller Wired Communication” of the Nintendo Switch system.

once you switch the adapter to the Switch Pro mode (the LED indicator is purple) .

Tips: System Settings - Controllers and Sensors - Pro Controller Wired Communication – ON.

More Instructions

1. Download the firmware from https://www.mayflash.com/Support and install it on your macOS system.

   

2. Press and hold the button on the side of the adapter, and connect the USB from your adapter in o any spare port on your computer, and wait for 3-5 seconds. After completing the above steps, the program automatically identifies the adapter (LED indicator turns off).

   

3. Click "update" and wait for a few seconds. The update is completed when the progress bar reaches 100%.

   Note: Do not disconnect the device until you are informed that the updated was completed successfully
