Update V08&V09 to fix the bug that one of the GameCube controller inputs was being doubled in-game after Switch updated to 19.0.0

Switch Firmware Update 19.0.0 is causing trouble with GameCube controller adapter W012

If you play games with a W012 adapter make sure to only update the game to the latest patch and not the Switch Firmware.

If you have updated the firmware and are having Not Recognized issues，please follow the steps below:

1. Unplug the adapter from the Nintendo Switch console.

2. Restart your console.

How to restart a Nintendo Switch system

1. Press and hold the POWER Button for at least three seconds.

2. Select Power Options.

3. Select Restart.
   

3. Plug the adapter back in.

If the adapter is unplugged from the console, the issue may continue to occur. Complete the steps above again as needed.

Noted : 

1. DO NOT upgrade to V07/V08/V09 if it works well on V05，CANNOT downgrade to old version or reset to factory settings ！

2. If your adapter running V05 and are having issues with Switch 19.0.0 ，please update V05 to V07 firstly and then V08,V09

How to update W012 GameCube Adapter for Wii U?

1. Download the firmware from https://www.mayflash.com/Support and install it on your Windows PC.

   

2. Push the switch on the side of the adapter to “PC mode” and plug the black USB port  to your PC.

   

3. select “update Firmware”.

   Donot disconnect the device until you are informed that the updated was completed successfully.
